This portion of our website was formerly the area of the construction specialty and was constantly under construction as some of you who visit regularly may have noticed. But as with all things the construction focus must change and your board of directors has decided that the chapter must service a broader range of specialty members than construction alone.

But I need your help and this is what I would like to do:

(1) I would like to develop a specialty members data base for our chapter with each of your particular specialties listed. I know we can get this information in capsule form from the ASSE main office, but our data base should reflect what each of you do in your specialty areas not what SIC code applies.
(2) Having developed this data base I want to be able to establish a method of referral for services both internal to ASSE and external for companies and clients looking for assistance in your specialty areas, always keeping your privacy in mind.
(3) I want to tap each of you as a resource speaker for our membership meetings. You all should have a forum to present information about your specialty areas and the chapter members should know who their consultants happen to be.
(4) I want you all to be active members of the Sacramento ASSE chapter and enjoy both the personal and business benefits of membership.

How can this work? If you will send your specialty information to me at redowney@pacbell.net I will begin the process . If you wish to be a speaker at one of our monthly meetings, include that in your response along with a specific topic area and I will coordinate that information with the chapter chair. And if you have suggestions or recommendations, please include those as well.

Together we can make this chapter even more successful than in the past.
