Speaker:  Ms. Linda Mariano – CES, Sutter Health Wellness and Cardiac Rehabilitation Center

At the conclusion of the program participants should be aware of:

• Exercise versus physical activity, what’s the difference?
• What are the three major fitness components and how is each valuable?
• Ideas for starting and promoting a successful employee fitness environment

Speaker Biography:

Ms. Linda Mariano has a BS in exercise physiology. She is an ACSM Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist. She has worked for Sutter Health for 18 years and in cardiac rehabilitation for the past 15 years.

MEETING DETAILS

The Chapter meetings are held at the China Buffet which is located at 1402 Broadway, Sacramento, CA 95818, next to the Tower Theater. The China Buffet’s meeting room holds approximately 50 people. .

Meetings are held from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm at the China Buffet every fourth Tuesday. Cost is $15. We take checks. No reservations are needed. Lunch starts at 11:30 am and the presentation begins at 12:00 pm. Parking is limited, so we encourage members to arrive early.
